This custom 4-channel microphone preamp is designed by an engineer from the renowned Decca Recording Company. It provides incredibly clean gain for any mike and adds a kind of shimmer to every sound. The DAV BG2 sounds like magic on every instrument, every voice.
Focusrite ISA428 Mic Preamp
This transformer based preamp is based on the legendary Rupert Neve designed ISA110. In fact, the original circuitry found in the 110 is also found in this new model, coupled with extensive options and digital compatibility. Directly competing with such companies as Solid State Logic, Neve designed many of the world’s best and most successful mixing boards . He himself founded the Focusrite company in the 80s.
